Hospital de los Venerables ♥ ♥ ♥

The Hospital de los Venerables is a 17th century Baroque mansion once used as a residence of aging priests.

If you have a little time to spare, I suggest making a quick visit.

The courtyard is so serene

I had the place all to myself and hung out in one of these benches for a while,
listening to the audio guide that came with my ticket

Beautiful tile work

More incredible tiles

Honestly, there is really not much to see at the hospital except a few Velasquez paintings

And a lot of textures

But I strongly suggest you come because this space holds one of the most beautiful churches
 I have ever seen

Be prepared to look up a lot as I did

The details are exquisite

So much magnificence and ornate religious artworks

Just being inside the chapel filled my heart with peace, calm, and so much gratitude

This place is a hidden gem in Seville and I suggest you include it in your itinerary.
Be prepared to be overwhelmed.

Thank you, Jesus, for replenishing my soul
