Back to Yushoken for some more ramen lovin'.
In this cozy Alabang shop, noodles are made fresh in-store and the broths are boiled forever.
Gyoza is excellent, too. We had one plate each. In the case of good food,
NOT sharing IS caring.
Same goes for the perfectly cooked Aji Tamago
It is hard to pick a favorite dish at Yushoken where, I must say, everything is good.
(Well, okay… except for the Tantanmen - Ukokkei is still best. See post here.)
Cyrene and Patrick each had their all-time favorite Shoyu Tonkotsu Ramen
Argyle tried the Gyokai Tsukemen
Which came with a delightfully tasty seafood and pork dipping broth with to-die-for pork pieces.
I know because I helped myself to quite a few pieces. :P
And because it was so hot outside, I chose the light and refreshing Hiyashi Chuka.
Waaaahhhh!!! I now have too many favorites at Yushoken.
Ramen-ed out, we moved to Cafe Juanita for some dessert.
Clockwise from top left: Patrick's homemade Choco Wow, Cafe Juanita's Mini Turon,
Sticky Toffee Pudding (the best in town!), and Cassava Cake
BURP.
