This is Chef Miko Aspiras, probably the youngest, most talented pastry chef in the country.
(So down-to-earth, too!) I've been a fan of his creations since I cannot even remember,
and I feel so proud (like a mama, lol!) that he now has a cookie store of his own.
Scout's Honor cookies are not your ordinary cookies. But, honestly, I really did not expect
anything less from Miko.
He prepared a tasting set for me and my cookie date, Jamie. It was arranged beautifully
before I started touching and moving things around, to the horror of my sister. Lol.
How cool that the babies were served on a cooling rack?
Thin Mints
Double chocolate fudge cookie sandwich + mint buttercream
I am not a big fan of mint except in a mojito, but I imagine chocolate-mint combo lovers
will go gaga over these.
Cookie Inception
Cookie within a cookie within a cookie!!!
Oreo + double chocolate fudge + chocolate chip
Samoas Dream
Coconut + caramel + salt on sable breton cookie + dark chocolate stripes.
The ultimate indulgence.
It is so hard to choose a favorite when every cookie tasted so special, but if I really have to pick, it will be a tie between:
Matcha Sesame
Green tea milk chocolate cookie sandwich + roasted black sesame + white chocolate filling

And the Molasses Cookie with Dates and Oats
So soft and chewy and Christmassy I meant to take a photo of the innards but gobbled up
the whole thing before I was able to summon enough self-control to stop. Sorry.
Miko tells me there will be more flavors available when they open, like peanut butter and jelly (gaaaahhhhhh!!!), s'mores, cereal cookie bar, lemon-lime cookie sandwich, and many more.
Plus you can craft your own cookie, too! Choose your dough, choose your toppings, and they'll bake it for you!
Of course, Scout's Honor understands that no cookie experience is ever complete without milk, so...
They prepared a line of flavored milk to keep all of us cookie monsters happy! Yay!!!
