Toranomon Koffee is the second outlet of the very popular Omotesando Koffee.
It is named such because of its location inside the new Toranomon Hills. See more here.
I love how simply the place is designed. The order station is flanked by two coffee counters or
what I like to call "koffee kubes" and each kube boasts a handsome La Marzocco machine.
There are mirrors perched on the ceiling so guests can watch as the baristas gingerly
prepare their kups of joe.
One kube does purely espresso based drinks
The other kube is where all the hand-brewing action happens
Coffee beans in glass tubes, all measured and ready for grinding
The menu is square and simple. Hot Koffee on the left, Iced Koffee on the right.
They do not carry the famous "kashi" or baked custard at this outlet. Sad.
It was my first meal of the day so I ordered a mocha
Because this girl needs her chocolate first thing in the morning
After all the eating I had been doing since I arrived Tokyo, I was afraid to sit on the
floating stool (and fall off and embarrass myself). The nice lady across the table
sensed my worry and assured me it was very sturdy.
See, I am actually pretty light! HA HA HA!!! :D
My mocha was delicious. Parting shot before I downed all that foam.
