I thought I knew EVERYTHING about Tokyo. I did very thorough research before I left.
But apparently, Roppongi Hills and Tokyo Midtown are not anymore the "happening places."
According to my Facebook friend Richard Joye, Toranomon Hills is the new place to be.
The Mori Tower in Toranomon Hills houses 4 levels of retail space, around 30 floors of offices, 152 units of private residences, and on the 42nd floor and up is the Andaz Tokyo Hotel with 164 guest rooms overlooking the city.
Wow.
The Japanese really know how to do their malls. Even with so much steel and glass, the place manages to look warm and inviting.
This is Toranomon. Doesn't he look like the washed out version of Doraemon?

Green Rattan Asian Resort and Cocktail House
Toranomon Koffee. Loved it and will post about it separately.
How adorable are these directional signs???
There are more restaurants than shops, but isn't this the reason why we go to Tokyo? ;)
This restaurant caught my interest 100%
It says "Dry Aging Ongoing"
WOWOWOW!!!
But a big teppanyaki lunch was coming up so I had to let this go.
Bye bye, Toranomon! I will be back for that beef!
