Would have been away still if I didn't have to fly home for this important one-day event.
Mayura Wagyu Burger Pop-Up by Pink Egg Episodes
Pink Egg Episodes is the baby of my cousin Frances and my sister Jamie.
As you can see, they both like animals, and they both like to eat animals.
This is them taste-testing their Mayura Wagyu burgers. I was at every single one of the tastings
to make sure they serve burgers that are up to my standards. OH, THE SACRIFICE!!!!!! :D
And then, June 29, The Big Cheat Day
It was held in a vacant house along Scout Gandia. The place is in the very early stages
of construction, therefore, no air-conditioning yet.
Sorry!!! But they had big Iwata units to keep everybody from melting.
Plus they played a funny Japanese movie to keep diners happily entertained
"This is our pilot episode, please refrain from screaming at us"

Tickets were at Php1000 (Goes all out with foie gras)
and P800 (Hold the foie)
All burgers came with chips and a bottle of craft beer or Sola iced tea.
But first, some things you should know about Mayura Wagyu:
1. They stay in a 5-star cow hotel
2. They lay on soft sawdust-cushioned floor
3. They listen to relaxing music for a good night's sleep
4. They eat Cadbury chocolates and gummy bears

Jamie pan-grilled the Mayura Wagyu patties. Each piece was a whopping 150g!

The assembly staff all wore mouthpieces (to ensure they don't drool over your burgers. Lol!)

It was a challenge to bite into the monster burger,
but it was a much bigger challenge to stop biting into it!
