I've been to Mona Lisa in Alabang some time back and wasn't really impressed with the food to
warrant a second visit (see post here), but we were stuck in SM Aura one day and Auntie Judy
wanted an Italian lunch
I appreciate the interiors of the restaurant. Paintings line the walls and even the ceiling
was something to look at.
Even the server's tie was something to look at! :P
We promised to eat less so we ordered one salad and one pasta to share.
The Sicilian Caesar Salad with baby romaine, grapes, mango, pine nuts and shaved parmesan
was delicious. I highly recommend it.
Except it took me forever to get to it. Auntie Judy wanted a photo with
the salad and she wanted to be pretty in it.
Therefore, foundation.
And cheek stain
OMG, she's applying it all over her face!
FINALLY!!!
So this is how exasperating it feels like to eat with someone who
doesn't let you touch the food until she is done with it = ME.
I tell you, karma is a bitch.
We also ordered this most alluring plate of Roasted Garlic Crab Pasta.
The noodles were firm and tasty, but our crab was not the freshest.
(My friends at the next table were luckier than us.)
The management gave us this complimentary slice of cheesecake and a P100 discount
to make up for the boo-boo.
The real Mona Lisa would not approve
