It was not my plan to go in any of the tiny bars in Golden Gai. (I was in a hurry to go home and eat my cakes.)
That is, until I saw Albatross.
It had a chandelier hanging outside its door!
And more chandeliers hanging inside the tiny 5-seater bar! Whoa!
I knew I had to see and experience more of this craziness.
I squeezed my plump body in the almost non-existent space between these
people's backs and the stairs to get to the innermost section of the bar.
I also spied Spiderman.
And look what greeted me, A DISCO BALL!!! This place is nuts!!!
Not that it needed more, but here's another crystal chandelier
There was too much going on inside this shoebox of a bar it's absurd.
But all of me loved all of it! :P
"Recommend Drinks" Menu
I had the Cacao Cocktail which was really just Bailey's diluted with milk.
No complaints. It was Japanese milk.
This was my little corner under the stairs
Batwoman kept me company
Albatross is also a gallery which explains all the paintings hanging around the place
Couldn't leave without peeking into the second floor
It was also as elaborate as downstairs. I wish I took a photo of the bartender
with his body piercings, tattoos, and hair that could kill
I needed to use the toilet but it was ridiculously small!
I did not even attempt to go in. I knew I wouldn't fit.
Check out the mini sink above the toilet bowl. Hooray for space-saving tips!
Way out
