Not many restaurants were open at the Century City Mall when we went.
It was burger, ramen, or crispy pata.
Naturally, Mom chose Filipino. She is one person who cannot live without rice.
It wasn't our first time at XO 46. Florence and Felisse had their despedida at the Salcedo Village branch some time ago. See post here.
So we were not as amused as before when our server started to
address us as Senyorito and Senyorita. It was actually quite enjoyable
listening to her speak in fluent Tagalog.
Makulay na puto at minatamis na mantekilya at aligue. Ang saya saya ng mga kulay nila! :)
Not sure if the purple was supposed to be ube and the green pandan. They tasted like
ordinary puto to me.
Adobong Batangas sa Atsuete - beef was tender but lacked oomph
Bangus ala Pobre - the spicy topping went very well with the fried milkfish
Crispy Pata XO Style - I did not see how different it was from other non-XO styles. Lol.
The deep fried knuckle was rather ordinary.
Ginataang Sigarilyas
Tinapa Rice - my favorite of all
XO 46 Bistro was still on soft opening and did not have a few items we wanted like pancit luglog, ginataang halo-halo, and 70% of the dessert menu.
We settled for 2 out of the 3 available sweets.
Malaubeng Panaginip - ayos lang
Cassava Cake at Pinaalat na Caramel - ay diyos ko! Ang sarap!
Ang aking pamilya
One little boo-boo. She said CRISPY pata when it was supposed to be MALUTONG na pata! :P
