Such a nice place with breathtaking view of the city, this restaurant on the 3rd floor of the
Zuellig Building in Makati
You get an open view of the kitchen, too
It is a pity that aside from two other people, we were the only guests for dinner service at the
huuuuuge space that is Terraz Meetings and Bistro. Despite that fact, it was a challenge to
get the attention of the waitstaff. Either they were not in sight or they were engaged in
conversation with each other.
Service flatbread was oily and starchy
Andrea was not too happy with her Ginger-Infused Don Papa Old Fashioned
Thankfully, our appetizers of 2 salads and gambas were not too shabby.
Spinach and Double Smoked Bacon Salad with sunny side up egg, Malagos pecorino,
pomelo pulp, ranch dressing and sunflower seeds
Wild Arugula and Cherry Tomatoes with gorgonzola cream, candied walnuts, shallots
Gambas - the prawns were a generous size and the wonton strips nice and crunchy
Housemade Pappardelle, wild arugula, and a piece of salmon that looked like it went on
a year-long starvation diet :P
The Roasted Rosemary Chicken tasted like it was marinated for days in chicken bouillon.
I saw no mushrooms in the mushroom risotto.
Steak Frites - Australian rib eye, 3 dips, wild arugula, cherry tomato salad.
The beef was tender until I got to the part where there was litid. Honestly, it wasn't
all that bad considering the reasonable price.
Ube Tres Leches fail. Plus I really don't get the grapes and undercooked sago. (?!?!?!?!?)
What saved dinner was this Impossible Cake. I separated the
leche flan from the chocolate cake and ate the two individually.
Super enjoyed your company, Andrea and Sharlene! Let's do this again but in another
restaurant! :P
