I am happy my cousin Archie chose to celebrate his 22nd birthday at the Skydeck at
The Bayleaf Intramuros. Actually, I was hoping it would be at the indoor (meaning air-conditioned)
9 Spoons, hehe, but the young man wanted live band and al fresco dining. I have to admit it was
a wonderful decision!
The night was beautiful with a cool breeze and we enjoyed a magnificent view of the
Manila City Hall from where we were seated.
The Fatterside Corner
A live band was performing on stage. You can make song requests, or if confident enough,
go up and sing them yourselves!
The buffet was very simple but well-curated. There was salad, soup, proteins and carbs.
The food was really nothing to write home about, but at 700-something pesos
per person, I think it was a pretty good deal. Not to add the service was very
friendly and efficient. The manager made sure all our needs were attended to
and even offered to take my photo with the buffet spread. LOL! :D

The birthday boy got a plate of beef as a gift from the restaurant.
Of course, I helped him enjoy his present. ;)
The steak was perfectly cooked and topped with lots of garlic and mushrooms.
It was very delicious!
The staff also surprised him with a birthday cake
