After dinner at Sarsa, we went up to Marmalade Kitchen for coffee and dessert
Marmalade Kitchen also sells marmalades (duh?), pastas, spreads, sauces, cookbooks, etc, etc.
Although there were two air-conditioning units in the dining room, neither was turned on.
It became warmer and warmer until we couldn't stand it anymore and decided to leave.
It was much cooler outside than inside the restaurant.
The staff recommended the Strawberry Shortcake
The cake was dry and the filling tasted like commercial strawberry jam :(
The Fallen Chocolate Cake was a better choice. Soft, very moist, with an almost fudgy center.
The staff asked if we wanted ice cream on top. We said no, we were watching our weight. LOL! :P
