It's been a while since I traveled all the way to Alabang for food. And it's been an even longer while since I tried a restaurant on soft opening and enjoyed every dish we ordered.

I normally snub bread baskets (clarification: my camera does, my mouth doesn't),
but this delicious assortment deserves its own photo on the www!
Like I said, everything we ordered I over-joyfully ate, from the amuse bouche to the last chocolate smear on the dessert plate. OMGGGGGGG THE DESSERTS!!!!!!!!

The Black Pig Charcuterie Board had seriously good meats:
Jamon Iberico de Cebo, Morcilla Iberico, Chorizo Iberico, Salchichon Iberico, Lomo Iberico.
I am not ashamed to admit I ate about 70% of this. And the cheeses, too. Lol!
The Black Pig Sausage Selection: Hungarian, Bratwurst, Cheese
Pan-Seared Tuna, Sesame Seeds, Mixed-Leaf Salad
Oven-Baked Local Pork Belly and Bone Marrow
with baby carrots, mashed potato, thyme and garlic-indused pork jus
The belly's beautiful layers were tender, almost milky. It went wonderfully with the very
sinful crisp-on-the-outside, gelatinous-on-the-inside decadent bone marrow chunks.
Mushroom Risotto with sautéed mushrooms and parmesan crisp
Pre-dessert of toasted coconut marshmallows
Apple Mille-Feuile, Vanilla Ice Cream
Rum Baba, Orange and Cream Cheese Ice Cream
The Black Pig Chocolate Praline Mousse
I loved all three desserts and cannot decide until now which one is my favorite.
Next time I go to The Black Pig I will order the whole menu!
