So Myron's is gone and in its place is a cute restaurant named Franco's. I heard Franco is
the son of Myron. Actually. I'm not sure if the owner of Myron's is called Myron, but whatever,
I'm calling him that.
Franco's menu is simple. We already knew what we wanted. We wanted rice.
It was one of those mother-and-daughter dates when all we order is rice
and nobody is there to judge us.
Mom had the Mushroom Risotto. It was literally mushrooms on top of a bed of risotto which
had no hint of mushroom flavor. Nonetheless, it was soft and tasty the way she likes it.
I had Crispy Binagoongan with rice. The pork was crisp and tender.
I only wish there was more shrimp paste in it.
It was a nice merienda. Okay, no judging!!!
