DSC00174

More than a month after their birthdays, we celebrated Jr, Benjie and Jamie's birthdays again
at Benjamie's, this time with the whole Fatterside. (See our little advance celebration here.)

We have a few non-beef eaters in our family. This short introduction on the pork chop was for them.

Wooden Spoon ♥ ♥ ♥

DSC09412

Wooden Spoon in Rockwell is always, always full. And just recently, I discovered why.
Food is very reasonably priced and so delicious!

DSC09410

And what is Wooden Spoon without wooden spoon chandelier? :)

We were a big group with big appetite so we ordered 2-3 servings of every dish.

Although food was very good, service left very much to be desired.

It was late but not yet closing, but our waiter was in a hurry to rid of us. Like when I ordered the talong, he was hesitant and told me the eggplant takes very long to cook.

I said I will wait.

I also placed our dessert orders in advance only to be told when I asked for the sweets that the kitchen had closed. GRRRRRRRR. @#$%^&#%!!!!!!

Good thing Frances bought this Dirty Harry by Miss Matamis from the Baker's Dozen.
The whole chocolate-caramel loaf was gone in seconds.

Buti pa this other waiter, he was happy to be of service and even climbed up the table
to take our group photo
