I love the concept of a croissanterie. Just croissants and coffee. Nothing else to confuse you,
distract you, and give you second thoughts. Life should always be this simple.

When in doubt, order three!
Le Salon Croissanterie uses a 50/50 creamy French-butter-to-flour ratio to make their croissants,
and then bakes the flaky crescents twice to achieve that golden (okay, brownish) crispy crust.
The White Truffle Croissant was filled with white cream and bits of mushroom with the faintest
hint of truffle. It felt like eating creamy pasta in bread but without the noodles. Not a fan.
The Praline and Peanuts Croissant was filled with a light cream that was not too sweet
and not too nutty.
The Apple Croissant was stuffed with cinnamon-spiced apple chunks. It was alright.
I think I like my croissants virgin and not pregnant with something else.
