Don't get me wrong. I love shabu-shabu, it's just that I prefer doing it at home.
I think the idea of going to a restaurant to cook raw meats in a pot of boiling broth is a bit uninspired.
That is, until I experienced Megan's Kitchen.
The restaurant also serves Cantonese fare, but we were there for some dipping action
Megan's Kitchen offers quite a few unique items you won't see in other shabu-shabu places

Modesty aside, I do a really mean shabu-shabu sauce. I have never tasted another that is
as awesome as mine. Lol! :P
If you think those yin yang pots that allow you two soup base options are the coolest things, wait till you see this...
Here at Megan's, you can choose THREE! We chose Cheese Souffle with Onion Soup (top left),
Tomato and Crab Soup in Souffle Finish (top right), and my favorite of the trifecta, Tom Yum
Goong Cappuccino (bottom). Other exciting choices include French Lobster Borsch Soup,
English Oxtail Soup, Sichuan Super Hot Chili & Escargot Soup, French Onion & Duck Soup,
Coriander & Preserved Duck Egg Soup, Apple & Corn Soup with Spareribs, etc, etc, etc...
