The food affair, my favorite kind of affair, started with some coffee and tea-infused cocktails
My Malongotini. Anything with coffee is love. ♥
Cheese and charcuterie station by JC de Terry
With the man himself, JC of Terry's
The Raffles Fairmont Ballroom was transformed into a mystical space with a lot of greens...
And pops of pink. Next to calla lilies, moth orchids are my favorite flowers! ♥
Town & Country gathered the most talented chefs in the metro to spoil us guests.
Bruce Ricketts of Sensei Sushi
Hokkaido oysters with textures of watermelon, mustard seed, tapioca and kimchi
Chef Bruce also prepared a delicious seared prawns ague chile with tamale colado, chorizo and salsa de chirmol with uni and lobster cream. I forgot to take a photo. Ops.
J. Luis Gonzales of Vask
Sous vide tuna, chili garlic oil, caramelized onion and puquillo peppers,
gorgonzola moshi with strawberries, sautéed lamb sweetbreads, olive mash potato,
tximichurri sauce and milk merengue
Rob and Sunshine Pengson of The Goose Station

Foie gras and gingerbread terrine, rhubarb gelee, raspberry compote and macaron

J Gamboa of Cirkulo

Snake River Farms American Kobe beef roast center cut sirloin served with sliced baguette
and horseradish cream, pommery mustard and thyme salt
Errr… Okay, this was not very "Town & Country" of me, but a fat girl's gotta do what a fat girl's gotta do
The dessert spread was overwhelmingly delightful! I didn't know where to start and when to stop. Lol! :D
Didier Derouet of Raffles and Fairmont Hotels
Miko Aspiras of Raffles and Fairmont Hotels
Strawberry Charlotte
Calamansi Valrhona Guanaja
Raspberry and White Chocolate L'Opera
Earl Gray Tea Mousse
And my favorite, Oriental Matcha and Sesame
I had a little bit of everything
And then some more. Check out the macaron burger and the cherry dipped in Iberico pork fat!
Everyone was pleased. Just look at the smiles.
Cutie, Sanju, Elbert, JJ and Cres
Berna, Catha and Noel
Tahnee, Susiean, Fat Girl, Terrence, Katherine
Karen and Johnny
The eating didn't stop that night. It continued on till I finished the last spoonful of calamansi curd.
(The memory stick was spared.)
Congratulations Alicia and the Town & Country team for an indeed very fabulous food affair! :)
