When I saw the long line from downstairs, I paused from my shopping and went up two floors
to line up myself. Hee hee hee. Don't we all have that copycat tendency sometimes? :P
Also, I saw the magic word: MATCHA
The queue moved quickly and it was soon my turn
Sweets House Cha Cha is divided into 3 parts:
Soft serve ice cream
Cream puff
And oobanyaki
I went for the cream puff. The skin was crisp and a little bit chewy.
Inside was a beautiful matcha custard that was, sadly, not matcha enough for me.
It's got absolutely nothing on the heavenly matcha puffs I had in Laetitia Taipei.
I am a matcha snob and I say this one's a second rate copycat. :P
But still I will be back to try the Hokkaido milk soft serve ice cream. I heard it has 3.6% butterfat content. SWEETS!!!
