Every September I fly to Hong Kong for this event
The Shaw Prize Award Presentation Ceremony
No, not to accept the one million US dollars award (soon, but not yet. Maybe in 2 years. Wait for it!)
The Shaw Prize, established in 2002 under the auspices of Sir Run Run Shaw, honors individuals
who have achieved significant breakthroughs in academic and scientific research or application,
and whose work has resulted in a positive and profound impact on mankind.

The most awaited part of the event for me was when the Shaw Laureates delivered their thank you speeches. I spent days and days with these most esteemed professors, and this glorious moment for them made me feel like one proud mama. I think I cheered the loudest, too. :)

My next most awaited moment was when dinner was served. Lol!
