The Japanese fried pork franchise Saboten has finally arrived in Manila
I'm liking the bright and cheerful interiors of the Serendra branch better than the dark and
crowded HK Causeway Bay branch (See post here)
This wall gives me happy feelings
Sauce, dressings, salt and mustard
Pickles
Bottomless cabbage
I like mine drenched in sesame dressing and tonkatsu sauce
Watermelon Wasabi Shake
Rea had Clay Pot Tenderloin. It was sweet and eggy.
Pat had Katsu Curry Chicken. Cy had pork. The curry had the right amount of heat.
I wanted to order curry, too, but this photo of the Grated Radish Tonkatsu changed my mind.
I am gaya gaya. Hee hee hee :D
The grapefruit was juicy but did not complement the overall taste for me.
The tenderloin was tender but lacking in flavor. It felt like eating soft cardboard. :(
All sets came with rice and miso soup
My favorite pairing was the cabbage. I just wish it were shredded more finely.
All porked out!
Next time I'll come back for the cakes!
