Maria Luisa's Garden Room is what every girl's dream house looks like (well, at least at some point in her life).
I'm waaaaaaay past that stage and all I really want now is just a bed, a big dining table and an even bigger Sub-Zero.
But sometimes, on some days, I still like to play girly girl and dine in charming places like this.
It's so pretty I felt like Barbie in a dollhouse! I started talking in a high pitch voice, twirling my hair with my finger while flashing my sweetest close-up smile.

Cherry tomato and prosciutto on pumpernickel
Basil Lemonade and Lemon Iced Tea
Mussels a la Baltazar in White Wine and Cream
A basket of very good bread
Which was perfect for mopping up all that creaminess
Duck Confit - tender but skin was soggy because of all that sweetish sauce
Pepper Steak Puskas - good but not great. Very Savoy Bistro. (See my post here)
Mango Crepe was delicious and swimming in butter
My only complaint - the spoon was minuscule!
This Barbie thing ain't working out for me.
Tarragon Tea
I can't wait to bring Mother here for muffins and scones.
And that oxtail these ladies were raving nonstop about.
