After the horrible lunch at Yaki Teppanyaki, I felt I deserved some good dessert.
The cake display at Black As Chocolate shouted out to me
I like the simple black packaging. The devil's fork was cute but proved a pain to eat with,
like drinking soup with fork or eating spaghetti with a barbecue stick! Argh!!!
Hazelnut Chocolate Cake - no hint of hazelnut at all :(
Blackcurrant and Strawberry Chocolate Cake - just okay
The cakes at Black As Chocolate didn't taste as rich and black as they looked. It was like eating
a very light cocoa-flavored sponge with a bit of cream filling, which may be good for a lot of
weight-conscious, calorie-counting people, but definitely not for me.
Need. Real. Desserts.
