Market Cafe used to be very good when it started operations years ago. I remember their Chinese roasts were one of the best in the city.
Not sure what happened through the years, but my experience a few nights ago left too much to be desired.
Seafoods
Cured meats and cheeses
Noodles and dimsum
Sushi and sashimi - the saddest selection I've seen in a while :(
Pizzas and pastas
Grilled meats
Sodas and beers
My friends got these for the table to share:
Grilled oysters
Baked mussels
Wilhelm's ebi and kani tempura
I got these for myself and did not share. Ha ha!
Yes, I took ALL the arugula from the salad spread and topped it with parma ham, salami, corn,
parmesan, gorgonzola, olives, walnuts, cashews, and drizzled it with oil and vinegar
Grace tried to replicate my salad but declared that hers was better because it had macaron. Lol!
I agree! :)
Salmon sashimi. The frozen kind. Ew.
And some pickled cucumber unagi salad.
Ebi tempura and four cheese pizza which I topped with more arugula
Walnut brownie, tres leches, chocolate mousse cake, and coffee baileys ice cream which
I sprinkled with black and white sesame seeds
Meh.
After dinner, we all went down to The Lounge for a...
Margarita Party!
Mango, chili mango, guyabano and guava. I had lychee but secretly coveted Wilhelm's guava.
