I brought the whole Fatterside here for Mother's Day

Mom's bottle included a bonus "Prayer for the Unmarried Firstborn." Hahahahahaha!

for the food to arrive

Popcorn Shrimps - fried in light beer batter, served with a trio of dipping sauces:
asian, tomato salsa and thousand island
Cheesy Chicken Dip - a flavorful mix of cheese, chicken, mushroom and spinach
served with pesto-flavored melba toasts
Chicken Liver Fegatini - chicken liver sauteed in garlic, anchovies, olives and capers
flamed with brandy in a rich red wine sauce. Rich and hearty.
I love mixing my food :)
Smoked Salmon Pizza - freshly baked pizza crust topped with cream cheese, smoked salmon,
egg white, egg yolk, and capers finished with spring onion and lemon.
The crust is amazingly thin and crisp and loaded with toppings! Sooooo good!!!
Creamy Wild Mushroom Soup - a creamy blend of shiitake, oyster and button mushrooms
Pugon Chicken - half chicken braised in olive oil, garlic and herbs cooked in wood fired oven.
I don't normally like chicken, but OMG! THIS CHICKEN SKIN!!!
Sesame Dory - pan seared John Dory coated in sesame seeds served with white wine
ginger mushroom sauce with spinach mashed potatoes and veggies
Roasted Leg of Lamb - pugon roasted lamb leg thinly sliced with rosemary jus
served with marbled potatoes cooked in garlic and herbs.
This was really tasty, but the meat was not so tender tonight.
Creamy Shrimp Pesto - shrimps and spaghetti in a creamy white wine basil pesto
No wine, just iced tea

Tiramisu - ackkkk!!! This tasted like plastic balloon! :(((
Belgian Chocolate Cheesecake - I like that this was not too sweet
Crepe Samurai with Vanilla Ice Cream - simple but delicious!
Nikko made these alphabet blocks for each family. We had way too much fun taking photos with our surnames. :)
Gwama believes 4 people in a picture is malas and refused to smile in this photo. Lol!
