It is true what they say about IHOP.
And I had to climb 2 flights of stairs with my bad foot just to affirm the sad fact
I couldn't help notice that the place smelled dirty, too, like old frying oil. Ew.
Devin offered to carry me up but one bad foot is better than 2 people crippled forever.
So I just let him pour me coffee.
It was typical diner-quality coffee, but it was what I consumed the most during dinner
Frances had French Vanilla Coffee. It was huge.
Sirloin Tips and Eggs - the beef was sweet!
Fried Chicken Dinner - skin was perfectly crunchy but the meat inside was dry and devoid of taste.
And that thing on the side is NOT a biscuit.
Specialty Fiesta Chicken Wrap - according to Janice (the mastermind behind tonight's dinner venue)
this was lousy. I believed her.
Eggs, Hash Browns and Bacon Strips
The pancakes were just okay. You can get better ones at other pancake houses. Or even from a box.
Original Buttermilk Pancakes
Strawberry Banana Pancakes
Chocolate Chip Pancakes
Syrups and syrups
We were hot and smelly and very puzzled about all the hype
