"Ma'am, baka tumakbo po yan," the staff jokingly said to me as I took a photo of this cat
I really love the interiors at Grace Park
The industrial feel, the wrought iron grills...
Exposed pipes, rough cement finish, mismatched chairs, that red flower on the wall...
Sadly though, even after a second try, I still can't say I feel the same for the food.
Read about my first Grace Park experience here.
Sardine Spread - this creamy, salty, just a tad fishy (but in a good way fishy) appetizer
was the highlight of the meal for me
Organic Scotch Eggs - meh
Barley, Smoked Ham and Farmers' Vegetables Soup - this has improved from the last time.
The icky taste of oil was replaced with… umm... some other flavor I couldn't quite describe.
Someone at the table mentioned "old" or "nostalgic" or something to that effect. I agree totally.
Squash Ribbons, Pistachios, Goat Cheese - I am biased towards goat cheese
and pistachio, but the pasta was too soft to enjoy
Fetuccine, Truffle Cream, Organic Egg - smelled heavenly but didn't do anything for my palate
Chicken Scaloppine - this was one of the better dishes
Organic Pork Chop - and I quote...
"The corn was my favorite element of this dish." - jin loves to eat, Grace Park, The First Time
Muscovado Beef Belly - very very tender, but I have mixed feelings about the flavor
Roasted Veg Garden
Golden Cassava - I thought this was pretty good
Ensaymada Pudding - if only it tasted as sexy as it looked...
