We always start our mornings with hot drinks.
Jamie had Hazelnut Hot Chocolate aka Diabetes in a Cup
Benjie had Vietnamese Latte
I had Hong Kong Milk Tea, which, sadly, tasted nothing like the milk teas I love in Hong Kong.
This was too milky and lacked the bitter and intense flavor of black tea.
Parmesan Churros
I dipped it in my sister's hazelnut hot choco when she was not looking! Naughty, salty and sweet!
Tarte flambée with caramelized onions, blue cheese, mushrooms and arugula
Macaroni and Cheese with gruyere and cheddar
Steak and Eggs. Kitayama beef flat iron steak with kimchi fried rice.
MY MUST-ORDER DISH AT WILDFLOUR EVERY TIME!
California Burger with cheddar, caramelized onion and brioche bun
Mom would faint if she saw how they pierced the burger with that knife!
Did not taste as delicious as it looked :(
Molten Chocolate Beignets, Banana Ice Cream - just okay
My favorite is still this super light and creamy Peanut Butter Banana Cream Pie.
I can easily wolf down a whole pie of this!

The very next day, I went back with Mother for a late lunch. We shared:
A tarte flambée with dates, caramelized onions, brie, argula
And Steak and Egg! Didn't I tell you it's my must-order at Wildflour EVERY SINGLE TIME?
We shared the kimchi rice equally and I had the beef all to myself. The perks of having
a non-beef eater mother. :)
