I was still hungry after my sad, sad breakfast at Bar du Marche so I immediately said yes to myself when I spotted Malongo Cafe on my way to the Saint Michel train station.
I love the feel of the place. So basic yet so modern and chic.
You can buy all your coffee requirements here - machines, accessories and other brewing needs
They also sell beans from every major coffee region on the planet. Tea leaves, too!
Malongo Cafe serves a good selection of coffees and teas
Small breads and pastries
It's the kind of place I'd love to linger in if I didn't have a palace waiting for me to explore.
I am captivated by the warm lighting, handsome communal table, and textures on the wall
The wooden bar stools
The Malongo imprint
The lighting fixtures made from cork
The sleek wooden tray
I kept my second breakfast light. After all, I didn't need a lot. I just needed it to be good.
My Cafe Latte Aromatise Pistache was smooth and creamy
The Pain au Chocolat was not the best, but it was a far cry from
the lousy breakfast I had 10 minutes ago.
The restroom was pretty chill, too :P
So happy to have discovered this place. :)
