My Auntie Natalie had only one request from Paris.
She did not want pastries or chocolates or cute French dudes. She wanted Miraculous Medal pendants and rosaries.
I was more than happy to get these for her at the Chapel of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal. I heard this was the place where the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to Saint Catherine Labouré in 1830 and requested the creation of the medal which is said to convert, protect, and perform miracles.
When a deadly cholera epidemic broke out in Paris in February 1832 claiming more than 20,000 lives, the Sisters began distributing the medals and many cures were reported. The people of Paris called the medal "miraculous."
The chapel is also the mother house of the Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul

I spent some time at the chapel praying for my loved ones, and... okay... not so loved ones. Lol.
It felt so peaceful and serene
I bought medals for myself and to give away to family and friends to remind
us that miracles do happen. We just need to believe.
This is what the miraculous medal looks like. On it are the words
"O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee"
I had the medals and rosaries blessed by the Sister
