On my way back to the hotel from my fantastic dinner at L'Avant Comptoir, I passed by The Smiths Bakery and guess what I saw...
BERTHILLON ICE CREAM!!!
This was #38 on my Paris To-Eat list and I was, in fact, supposed to walk all the way to
Ile Saint Louis the next day for a scoop of this heaven
But when God presents me with pleasant surprises such as this, I am not one to say no.
I say "Thank you, Lord! Salted Butter Caramel and Pistachio, please!" :)
And these scoops are like God's love for me - rich, extravagant, extraordinary.
The flavors were extremely strong and intense. The pistachio luxuriously creamy and nutty,
the salted butter caramel exploded with a beautiful burnt caramel flavor complemented with
a full dose of salted butter. Every single lick sent me into raptures.
Dear Lord, I crave Your love
