Dinner at Umu with the family
Teppanyaki tables. We didn't sit here. Because 1. We were not having teppanyaki,
and 2. I wanted to sit on the beautiful chairs in the photo above. Hee hee.
I love the lighting display on the wall
(Such a shame I could not sit on it, too!) :P
To keep things simple, we all ordered sets.
Dad had Yakimono Zen which came with salad, salmon and tuna sashimi, grilled cod,
rice, pickles, miso soup
Mom had Unagi Zen which came with salmon and tuna sashimi, grilled eel on rice, salad,
pickles, miso soup
Uncle RB had Soba Gozen which came with prawn tempura, salad, inari sushi, soba, pickles
And I had the yummiest of all, Steak Zen which came with salmon and tuna sashimi (not in photo),
grilled steak, salad, rice, pickles, miso soup
We ordered some more sashimi to share:
Yellow Tail
Marinated Mackerel
Sweet Prawn
Scallop
All sets come with your choice of dessert. I chose ube ice cream to end the meal.
