I thought that it was so random and sweet of Jane to send me a message saying she got me a Christmas present.
So I thought I'd be random and sweet, too, by asking her out to lunch. :)
We haven't met before, but she reads my blog and I read hers. (You should, too!)
I think she's one of the coolest moms. And definitely the most hyper!
Lunch was at Mona Lisa in Alabang

OMG!!! She's just like Mom! They share the same goal which is to overfeed me!

Cheese Platter
Jane knew I love cheese and it was really so sweet of her to order this platter even before I arrived.
Of course, it wasn't her fault that Mona Lisa's selection couldn't be more boring. Zzzzzzzz…
Bresaola Salad

I like to stuff mine with lots of alfalfa and arugula and a sprinkling of chili flakes
Grilled Salsicia Rigatoni Fungi - grilled Italian sausage with fungi porcini sauce mixed with
black truffle oil
The desserts were a disaster. :(
Tiramisu was sickeningly sweet
Panna Cotta was just okay, nothing to write home about
The Cannoli shell was so hard the thing almost flew across the table when I tried to cut it. Lol.
But I'm happy I finally got to meet the face behind Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice
I met her two kiddos, too! So pretty and so gwapo and so well-behaved!
