From the makers of Shanghai Tang is this elegant yet cozy dining room reminiscent of old Shanghai, serving well-loved Cantonese comfort food.
Island Tang by David Tang of Shanghai Tang :P
While I was crushing on this stainless teapot, my friend Melvin walked into the room
And OMG!!! He lost so much weight I almost did not recognize him!
I started asking him how he did it, how long it took, what diet program, what exercise regimen, etc. etc. etc.
I was so willing and determined to go through the same torturous ordeal...
That is, until the first dish arrived.
I swear I could smell the sweetness of the barbecued pork and hear the crunch of the roasted
pork belly skin even before any contact with the food. And when contact finally happened,
I was grinning ear to ear.
The dishes that followed were all very good. I just don't know how to feel about the tiny serving sizes.
I only know I am happy that Melvin is still on a diet.
Ooops.
I mean I am happy that Melvin has succeeded and is continuing to succeed (with generous help from me today) in losing so much weight.
Hee hee.
