One of life's simple luxuries is spending time with my girlfriends.
Every girl should have a close knit group and this one's mine.
Missing Elisa
A close knit group of girl best friends means these ladies won't kill you if you pick a restaurant, order food, and half the dishes come out underwhelming… as is the case tonight.
I don't get it. I hear people rave about Las Flores, and the place is packed with happy-looking customers on a Thursday evening.
Maybe it's our taste buds' off night tonight. :(
Pumpkin Soup
Croquetas stuffed with Spanish chorizo
Ensalada Las Flores - local greens topped with cheese (they ran out of feta), tomatoes,
shoe string potatoes, and caramelized apples
Tuna tartare with avocado and tomato jam
Spanish chorizo omelet with alioli
Gambas al ajillo picantes, por supuesto
Botifarra Catalana - Catalan sausage with baked potatoes, caramelized onions
and shiitake mushrooms
Paella de Marisco
Paella Negra con Sepia
The food isn't bad, but I guess we expected better.
In fairness, we all love the Paella de Marisco.
