This is my absolute favorite hotel of the trip.
From the small, boutique-y feel (I despise cold and massive chains), to the design, the colors, the linens, the location...
Le Royal feels like home away from home.
Entrance lobby
Isn't this too adorable?
Reception
Sitting room. I'm loving the blues.
Yay! It has an elevator, too! (Some hotels don't, you know)
The lift is tiny. It can fit me, my bag, and maybe one bulimic person.
But I don't mind. As long as it does its purpose, I can suck in my breath. :P
Hallway to the rooms
Do not disturb
When booking, you can choose between the blue room and the red room. I chose blue.
The bed is so plush and the pillows so yummy! Every night I look forward to crawling into bed,
and every morning my butt takes its sweetest time sliding off it.
Room from another angle
Closet, drawers, safe, luggage rack
Bathtub and his and hers sinks (they're both mine!)
Separate toilet
Fragonard toiletries
Turndown treat: chocolates on the first night
Mini macaron on the next
I wish I stayed longer than just two nights.
View from my room. Place Bellecour is right in front.
Hoping they will switch to key cards soon. The teddy bear keychain is super cute, but my gosh,
it's also super heavy to carry around with all the chocolates in my bag!
