I was just strolling around the Opera area when the sharp orange color called out to me
And look what I see. The orange is Eric Kayser!
I wasn't expecting to meet The World Famous Baguette until I get to Paris, but what can I say,
it was Destiny!
Eric Kayser offers a good enough selection of breads, sweets and savories
I was really tempted by these bready things packed with chocolate chips, but at the moment
I was here for one thing only

ZOMG!
The crust was thick and the inside was dense with a substantial chew. It was in no way delicate. It was hefty and macho, with a long, fresh, strong wheaty finish. I never tasted bread like this before.
Ever since that moment, I have been initiated into the life of baguette enthusiasm.
