The Negresco is an icon in Nice
I heard it is owned and managed by an old lady who has no kids, loves pets, and is a bit eccentric
I love eccentricity
Hotel Lobby
I wasn't able to book a room at Negresco (boo!), but I was able to snag a table at its 2 michelin star restaurant.
Le Chantecler
The dining room is so… pink!
Made me feel ilke having a rose
Munchies to start
Breads
My selection. And French butter (OMG!)
To get a taste of the restaurant's signature dishes, I ordered the Chantecler tasting menu.
Amuse Bouche
Frog legs dressed in green, crayfish in chickpea mousse, mustard shoots and pink garlic crisps
Small fisher boat sole with Mizuna leaves, piperade sauce, sweet peppers mille-feuille
