We want to stay close to the mall as we’re catching the last full show of New Years Eve after our Christmas dinner.
So that’s why Chef Jessie.
Plus it is the only restaurant I can think of that serves foie gras in Rockwell.
Frances will die if she doesn’t eat liver.

Classic French Onion Soup with Gruyere Cheese
Nikko and Jamie order the Creamy Shrimp Bisque
I go for something more calorific – Cheese, Mushroom, Spinach Soufflé.
The savory soufflé is good but too heavy even for me.
Next time I’ll be less greedy and order regular instead of large. Hihihi!
Frances’s Pan Fried Goose Liver in Raspberry Honey Sauce, half portion.
The other half goes to Alexi. Both halves gone in a single second.
I order the Baked Chilean Seabass in Miso and share it with Nikko.
We’re quite happy with the fish, it is sweet and delicious!
Nikko orders the Ostrich Salpicao and share it with me. Blech!
Jamie and Benjie have the same, too, as our waiter highly recommends this dish.
Seriously, it’s like chewing on soggy, garlicky cardboard. No one is happy with this plate.
Instead, we should have ordered this Baked Rack of Lamb Herb de Provence.
Frances says it’s very good.
Alexi offers me a piece of her Grilled Tiger Prawns in Thermidor Sauce.
The prawns are huge and succulent, the sauce quite okay but not excellent.
We finish our mains 20 minutes before movie starts.
I guess we’ll just have to do a Christmas dessert party soon to cap off this meal.
