I don’t know if you know this, but…

I know how to parteeey, too.

Even if it is once a year only.

December 29, 2010. My first and only time in Republiq.

 

The half-face is my cousin Danny. Uncle Jorge was too wasted to fit us all in the screen.

 

Of course, a parteeey is no parteeey without some food.

 

Spinach and parmesan cheese gratin

 

Beef short ribs “Kalbi,”  fresh cilantro, kimchi and cheese quesadilla

 

Roast chicken, fresh cilantro, fire-roasted tomato salsa and cheese quesadilla

 

Overloaded chili and cheese fries. I think I finished all of this.

 

We called it a night early and went home at 2. That was the best our brittle bones could do.
