I’ve always wondered what a bride eats for dinner the night before her wedding day. Or if the thought of eating anything even crosses her mind.
If I were to get married tomorrow, I’d probably be nibbling on Skyflakes only, at very strict orders of my bridal gown designer. Or else there is no way I am going to fit into the wedding gown she created for me to wear on the biggest day of my life.
But I’d probably sneak in a chocolate bar or two when no one’s watching.
Achi Donna has more self control. She says tonight we are eating fish and vegetables only and remains true to her words.
I hate her discipline.
These complimentary peanuts are sooooo good I finish them in no time and ask for
a second serving, which I also finish in no time.
Hot and Sour Seafood Soup “Szechuan Style” – doesn’t scrimp on the seafood, and
the level of spiciness is just perfect for me
Stewed Garoupa Fillet with XO Sauce in Clay Pot – very tender and tasty
Stewed Beancurd with Enoki Mushrooms and Dried Scallops – enoki mushrooms are my favorite, and the soft and silky beancurd is out of this world! This vegetable pot is so delicious I almost forget it’s healthy.
The bride-to-be trying on her newly bought false eyelashes
Because ordering dessert is out of the question, I have no choice but to attack these little treats she plans to distribute to guests on her Filipiniana-themed wedding tomorrow.
