I heard Aquaknox Makati serves really good food.
Can anyone tell me what happened to the Greenhills branch?
It is so sad that out of the many, many, many dishes we ordered, there are only two dishes that everyone likes.
1. Cha Gio – fried crispy rolls with crab and pork, mushrooms and vermicelli
2. Cua Rang Moui Toi – Chef Danny’s famous crab is so garlicky, so tender, so tasty and
so easy to eat! It’s got no more shell, just a whole pile of plump and juicy crustacean goodness sitting on a puddle of garlic-infused olive oil, waiting patiently for you to attack.
I love this hassle-free way of eating crabs. Let the chef worry about the shells.
And you about your cholesterol. Life is fair.
The many, many, many dishes we try hard to like, but fail:
Fresh spring rolls Prawns wrapped on sugarcane
Fried chicken lollipops Pork, chicken and beef satay
Grilled chicken with sticky rice Chef’s garlicky noodles with parmesan cheese
Caramelized garlic shrimps and scallions Pho essentials
Chicken curry noodles Rice noodles with beef
Rice noodles with chicken Rice noodles with shrimp and pork
Vermicelli with shrimp, fish balls, mushroom Stir-fried water spinach with garlic
Bokchoy with mushroom and oyster sauce Sago in coconut cream
Sometimes I wonder if the restaurant is still open.
