Copenhagen Island Hotel is our home for the next two nights.
Built in 2006, the hotel is still all shiny, white and bright.
White walls and blue glasses give the hotel a very simple and modern feel
Lobby. Lob the chairs. Hihihi.
Florence and I share this room
Our standard room is very small and basic. But it is also very, very clean.
If I have the money to open a hotel, I’d pirate the hotel’s housekeeping team.
Work desk, LCD TV, water painting. You don’t see it, but there’s free wifi
I am a sucker for personalized messages
The hotel is located by the harbour. You’ve got water, boats, glass buildings, and Fisketorvet Shopping Center on the right.
And a nice little spot for coffee or beer
Breakfast at The Harbour Restaurant is something to look forward to
I really love the simple and elegant design by Kim Utzon
Breads, breads, breads Ham, pate, cheese
I want to take this cheese slicer home Butter, jam, honey and nutella!
Sausages, veggies, eggs, bacon Hard boiled eggs
Cereals, yoghurt, fruits Fruit juices and water
My plates:
My favorite is the sesame and poppy seed sweet pastry.
Next is the poppy seed-carrot-walnut bread.
After this plate, I go back for more of the liver pate, arugula and stinky brie
Grapes, pineapples and oranges
This is Frances’s attempt at eating healthy
Enjoying breakfast and the magnificent view. I can do this every morning.
Frances and me. No, we didn’t plan our outfits this time.
Auntie Babie, Auntie Atis, Felisse and Florence
I make us some sandwiches for the road
And Frances wraps them in paper placemats
