January 24, Manila to Bangkok
First Course: Smoked Salmon Rosette with Caper, Marinated Pimiento,
Mesclun with French Vinaigrette Dressing – boring
Main Course: Mixed Seafood with Garlic and Basil, Stir-Fried Vegetables,
Cantonese Noodles – seafood is tasteless and rubbery and very disappointing
My cheese plate.
Kidding! This is the FA’s cheese tray.
My cheese plate – I wish for a better selection
Dessert: Pumpkin Cheesecake and Coffee – anything sweet is welcome at this point
Entertainment: Bejeweled Blitz! My favorite game!
January 24, Bangkok to Chiang Mai
Chicken Curry with Rice – the sauce is great except chicken is hard.
Forget about the peanut tart.
January 28, Chiang Mai to Bangkok
Fish Curry with Rice – pretty good. I suggest you skip the dry mocha roll.
January 28, Bangkok to Manila
First Course: Sauteed Prawns, Grilled US Scallops, Grilled Zucchini, Tomatoes and Mozarella, Mesclun – not bad at all
Main Course: Stir-Fried Fillet of (VERY TOUGH) Beef with Ginger and Spring Onion, Oriental Fried Rice, Seasonal Japanese Vegetables, and an episode of Gossip Girl
That slice of cheese with dried fruits and nuts is the bomb!
I have a second plate, and lust for a third. I still dream about it even now.
Dessert: Dark Chocolate and Rhum Truffle with Coffee – not dark enough
If I were a bathroom fixture, I’d be this chubby but cute toilet bowl.
