jin loves to eat at home, October 7-10, 2010

Being away from home for three whole weeks, eating at all these great Hong Kong restaurants, stuffing myself night and day, from dusk till dawn, indulging when I know I really shouldn’t, just made me miss this one thing more.

My mom’s cooking.

Ahhh… it’s so nice to be home.

 

October 7, 1:05pm

10Milkfish belly, shrimps, vegetables. mushrooms and sea cucumber

9Kiwi, plum, dragon fruit, pear, pineapple-custard apple, and some kind of crunchy fruit

11Goat milk! (like I needed the extra nutrients)

 

October 8, 12:36pm

12Shrimp and asparagus, assorted mushrooms, French beans, rice

13Dragon fruit, plum, kiwi, pomelo

 

October 8, 7:16pm 

14Buttered chicken and button mushrooms, shrimps, steamed sea bass, rice

 

October 9, 10:00am

15Dragon fruit, apple, pomelo

 

October 10, 11:32am

16Angel hair with mushrooms, sundried tomato and capers, garlic sausage

17Pomelo, melon, watermelon

 

Four days of home-cooked meals and then I’m flying out again.

Taipei, here I come!!!
