I know I’ve been MIA the last three weeks…
I’ve been busy… Sorry…
Just want to let you know I’m still alive and eating.
Here’s what I’ve been doing…
Getting married… Yes, finally!!! :)
Getting up at 7am everyday (gasps!!!) and reporting to my station
at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong
Stuffing myself endlessly with these processed carbs for breakfast:
Robuchon Almond Croissant Robuchon Chocolate Banana Croissant
La Creation de Gute La Creation de Gute
Squid Ink Bread with Bacon and Cheese Walnut, Figs and Black Sesame Muffin
La Rose Noire Zucchini Walnut Muffin Pret-a-Manger Grilled Chicken and Mango
Going up to The Peak, playing tour guide once, twice, thrice…
And also to Hong Kong Park. Can’t believe it’s my first time here!
A beautiful sanctuary amidst all the hustle and bustle. I love it immediately.
Watching the birds in the aviary enjoy a buffet of apple, pear, corn, watermelon and orange
Celebrating until dawn in Lan Kwai Fong
Bringing guests to Ocean Park the next morning.
Looks like I’m not the only one with a crazy hangover!
Watching the fishies swim. So calm and peaceful.
Hanging out with aunts and cousins
Hanging out with these guys… Yes, that’s HKSAR Chief Executive Donald Tsang and
Sir Run Run Shaw of the legendary Shaw Brothers!
Getting ready for the main event, the Shaw Prize Award Presentation
Gorging on Ebeneezer’s Doner Kebab. A trip to HK is never complete without it!
And on Zenpachi’s Premium Saga A4 Wagyu Beef
And on Sunning Restaurant’s Prime Rib
And on Ming Kee’s Taro Shaved Ice with Fruits
And… OH NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! @#$%&!!!!!!!!!
And this? My cousin’s! Hello??? Who’s gonna want to marry a 155-lb. chick?
Finally!!! Congratulations, Nelson and Jessica! :)
